| MBO | Male Bowhunter Open | Orange | A compound bow, recurve or long bow with a moveable sight, scope or laser sight. Any type of release aid, glove, finger tab or bare fingers may be used. | |||||
| FBO | Female Bowhunter Open | Green | A compound bow, recurve or long bow with a moveable sight, scope or laser sight. Any type of release aid, glove, finger tab or bare fingers may be used. | |||||
| MBR | Male Bowhunter Release | Orange | A compound bow, recurve or long bow with or without a sight. If a sight is used, it will have fixed pins. Must be shot with some type of release aid. | |||||
| FBR | Female Bowhunter Release | Green | A compound bow, recurve or long bow with or without a sight. If a sight is used, it will have fixed pins. Must be shot with some type of release aid. | |||||
| AHC | Australian Hunter Class | Green | A compound, recurve or longbow with or without sights. If a sight is used it will be of a hunting style (i.e. no target sight and no lens). Arrows must have a minimum 60gr screw in style points and a minimum of three (3) 4 inch vanes or feathers . Only one (1) single stabiliser with a maximum 12 inches in length from the nearest point of attachment is allowed. A maximum of eighty (80) pounds of peak weight is allowed. |

| RA | Recurve Aided | White | A recurve bow with a sight. Must be shot with a glove, finger tab or with bare fingers | |||||
| RU | Recurve Unaided | White | A recurve bow without a sight or sight markings/aids of any description. Single stabiliser not exceeding 12 inches. Must be shot with a glove, finger tab or with bare fingers | |||||
| TRAD | Traditional Longbow | White | All 3DAAA rules
